This was our first season and it was EVERYTHING I expected it to be. Some days was tough, other days it super easy. Our goal was to teach our son not to quit and be a team player. Our goal was met!
This season. Our first season was a blast well at least for me it was! Some days our son did not want to wake early for his game. Even though we keep him on a bedtime routine he was just not having it in the morning. But we made sure he got up and at least show up and turns out those are the days he enjoyed playing the most and made goals! Other days he would be so ready to play and play all the way and some says he was so ready to play but did not like the idea of the other team getting the ball from him.
They grow up so fast
Do you ever just sit there and blur out your surroundings and just admire your child while they are so focus on other things? Well this is me every game and every practice. I just love watching him run with a smile going after the ball that everyone is going at the same time. He looks like he is loving the game and enjoying running down the field with his buddies.
The all have their own pace
For the first few weeks of practice was like watching Coach (my husband) herding cats running all over the field! Oh and then every 2-3 minutes they will come to the sidelines getting water and making their own water breaks. Games, they had no idea what goal to make it to. Mid way of the season everything change! I mean from practice to games. It just took some time.
What are we doing next?
We have no idea what our next adventure will be next. All I know is he is into Karate, Basketball and Football.
