Transformers
Trying to figure out what theme you are wanting to do for kid’s birthday party? It took me about 2-3 months to figure what and how I wanted my son’s birthday party to theme out. When planning a birthday party you have to take the prices into consideration. I asked my 2-year-old what theme he wanted for his birthday and giving him option (whatever he likes at the time) helped me a lot! It was between Paw Patrol, Monster-Jam and Transformers (what he was into at the time). Of course he picked Transformers, so I went from there.
I wasn’t a big fan of the prices of Transformers but I also didn’t want to change the theme, he only turns 3 once! Also, looking for decorations for this theme was harder than I expected. SOOO.. I made most of the decorations by hand. I will give you free printables for you, because I know what it’s like! It ain’t easy I feel ya on that one.
Thanks
Thanks to HOBBY LOBBY and TARGET! I spend most of my husbands check there, ha! Just kidding but that is where I got most of my supplies at. Hobby Lobby has a 40% OFF all the time. I LOVE IT! Target has sales as well, my favorite spot is the dollar section. Most of the goodie I got range between $1-$5.
This is going to be the center pieces. I love them! They took me about 2-3 weeks doing the little details. Only because of mom duties of course. I made the decorations myself. The only thing I bought was the…
- Cardstock paper at HL
- Sticks at HL
- mini chalk box
and
- chalk markers
All from HOBBY LOBBY!
Party Favor
The party favors! My favorite part of a party. I love how these turned out by far my favorite creation I’ve made, you know besides my son! This is where I say I spend most of my time at Target getting the goodies for the party favors. Literally all of these goodies are from $1-$5. The I used the same symbol that I’ve been using throughout with the same color and card stock. CANDY I got it from Wal-Mart.
Birthday Picture Frame
Last year we did his favorite superheros which you can also check out here Superhero Birthday Party planning. This year I love the way his birthday picture frame came out. I used the same card stock paper as the centerpieces and everything else. I am covering his name for his safety. BUT anyways, I am loving the font I used this year. I wanted to use the font Transformers uses but I wanted my son’s birthday party to be bit different and unique. Notice that I kept the same theme through everything I’ve done. I used the same color throughout the decorations and their symbol.
Decorations
I got red and blue for Optimus Prime. Black and yellow for Bumble-Bee. The two black and white checkerboard table cover for the cake and presents! I couldn’t resist on getting the BIG 3!! These swirl dangling things are my favorite to put around, along with the Crepe streamer rolls to be wrapped around. I got all of these from Hobby Lobby.
FREE DOWNLOADS!
Who doesn’t love free downloads. I know I do! I did it in different sizes but you can always find a way to change the size. These are all of the designs I’ve used for specifically this party. I love you like them!
- What I used for the centerpieces
- What used to be lying around the table as and “confetti type“
- The used for their symbol
