Are you trying to prepare yourself before they hit three? I did the same thing, it was scary yet curious of what it would be like raising my own. But if you’re here to make sure your three-year isn’t the only one acts up on silly things? No! You and your child are not alone. I sometimes cry along with him because i haven’t slept and I’m still giving him the wrong cup, even though it’s a new thing hoping he likes this cup today.
Raising MY 3-year-old is hard.
Today my three-year old screamed at me because he dropped his toy in the car and I wasn’t going to get it while I was driving to our destination.
Yesterday my son cried because I gave him the blue Paw Patrol bowl instead of the green PJ Mask bowl.
Last week he threw a tantrum because I didn’t say thank you.
Raising three-year olds is though.
Seriously you guys. You think 2s is though wait till’ they are three.
They savages. No hard feelings yet they have tender feelings. You never know what to say or do so you don’t touch a nerve. Asked or not they will give you their opinions and sometimes they are harsh. To top it off they cry. all. the. time. Very emotional and dramatic!
A few months ago my son said “Mom you’re fat” right after I got off the treadmill. They will tell you exactly what is on their mind.
Yesterday my son said “I’m hungry. I need to get my belly full and fat like you mom” mind you that i’m pregnant. (Crying face insert here)
But… They can be the sweetest
Knowing that three-year olds are though. They are amazing. Creative. Very wanting to be independent. Always willing to try new things and so fun to raise. The way they show their love is wonderful.
My son the other day said “Mom, you are beautiful” he then grabbed my face with those sticky fingers and kissed my cheek. I didn’t mind.
Parenting has been one of the hardest thing I have ever done yet the most amazing I will ever do.
Raising my three-year old is tough but I wouldn’t change it for the world!
